THE LOCAL UNION SHALL PARTICIPATE IN A BENEFIT AND RETIREMENT PROGRAM AS AND TO THE EXTENT OF PROVIDING COVERAGE FOR THE FULL-TIME OFFICERS, AS PROVIDED FOR IN THE PAY PROVISIONS CONTAINED HEREIN AND CAN BE ADJUSTED OR AMENDED AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH TERM OF OFFICE.

THE LOCAL UNION WILL PROVIDE SAFETY AND HEALTH REPRESENTATIVES AND WORKER COMPENSATION REPRESENTATIVES, TO ASSIST OUR MEMBERS WITH THEIR SAFETY AND WORKER COMPENSATION ISSUES. APPROPRIATE TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THE APPOINTED REPRESENTATIVES. EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS REQUIRED TO ABSENT THEMSELVES FROM THEIR REGULAR EMPLOYMENT TO ATTEND MEETINGS OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD SHALL BE REIMBURSED FOR LOST TIME AT THEIR STRAIGHT TIME HOURLY RATE OF PAY PLUS APPLICABLE SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL. IN NO EVENT SHALL BOARD MEMBERS RECEIVE BOTH THE 50.00 PER MEETING AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR LOST WAGES. MILEAGE FOR ATTENDING BOARD MEETINGS SHALL BE PAID AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 6 OF THIS ARTICLE. ANY OFFICER OF THIS LOCAL UNION HOLDING MORE THAN ONE OFFICE FOR WHICH A SALARY IS PAID SHALL BE ENTITLED TO RECEIVE THE SALARY OF ONLY ONE OFFICE, WHICHEVER IS THE HIGHER. ALL DISBURSEMENTS FOR AUTHORIZED EXPENDITURES MADE IN BEHALF OF THE LOCAL UNION SHALL BE SUPPORTED BY RECEIPTS, VOUCHERS, OR OTHER REASONABLE PROOF OF CLAIM.
