Part I, Line 2: GRANTS TO 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATIONS: By accepting the grant, grantees must agree to the following stipulations: - All grant funds, and income earned on those funds, must be spent only for charitable, religious, scientific, literary or educational purposes - Individuals connected with the grant recommendation will receive no benefits, goods or services in exchange for the grant - The grant will not be used to satisfy the payment of a pre-existing pledge or other financial obligation- The grant will be used solely for the purposes specified in the grant award letter and is not for the personal benefit of an individual - Any funds not used for the purposes specified in the award letter will be returned to the organization - Some grantees may receive a formal grant agreement, depending on the size and complexity of the grant and must sign a grant agreement that stipulates that the grantee will send to the community foundation a report on the use of the granted funds one year following the receipt of the grant.
