VINCENT HEALTHCARE CONTINUES TO SUPPORT ITS NON-PROFIT LLC PARTNERSHIP, THE COMMUNITY CRISIS CENTER, WITH FINANCIAL AND IN-KIND SUPPORT. THE COMMUNITY CRISIS CENTER PROVIDES ASSESSMENTS, CASE MANAGEMENT, GROUPS, ADDICTIONS COUNSELING, REFERRALS, AND STABILIZATION SERVICES TO PEOPLE 24 HOURS PER DAY 365 DAYS PER YEAR. THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FOR PERSONS IN CRISIS WHO NEED ACCESS TO INTEGRATED MENTAL HEALTH, CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY AND SOCIAL SERVICES, REGARDLESS OF ABILITY TO PAY FOR THESE SERVICES. THIS INCLUDES A 24 HOUR STABILIZATION AREA FOR THOSE MOST AT RISK THAT DO NOT NEED HOSPITALIZATION. THE COMMUNITY CRISIS CENTER ALSO PROVIDES CRISIS INTERVENTION TEAM TRAINING FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT. IN 2016, OVER 10,000 CLIENT VISITS WERE MADE TO THE COMMUNITY CRISIS CENTER. ST. VINCENT HEALTHCARE HAS BEEN WORKING TO INTEGRATE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES INTO EXISTING PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN PRACTICES. IN ADDITION, ST. VINCENT HEALTHCARE IS A MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY COLLABORATIVE FOCUSED ON DEVELOPING A SYSTEMS APPROACH TO ADDRESS TRAUMA AND ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES (ACES) IN OUR COMMUNITY. THESE EFFORTS INCLUDE TRAINING 2,254 INDIVIDUALS INCLUDING MEDICAL PROVIDERS, SOCIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS, FAITH COMMUNITY, AND EDUCATORS OF THE EFFECTS OF TRAUMA AND ASSESSING ORGANIZATIONAL TRAUMA-RESPONSIVENESS FOR 9 ORGANIZATIONS. ST. VINCENT HEALTHCARE HAS ALSO TRAINED PERSONNEL TO PROVIDE MINDFULNESS CLASSES AS A COMMUNITY RESOURCE FOR TRAUMA RESPONSE. ST. VINCENT HEALTHCARE HAS PROVIDED FINANCIAL AND IN-KIND SUPPORT TO COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS AND COLLABORATIONS ADDRESSING SUICIDE AND MENTAL HEALTH INCLUDING THE SUICIDE PREVENTION TASK FORCE, NATIONAL ALLIANCE ON MENTAL ILLNESS (NAMI), AND AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION. ST. VINCENT HEALTHCARE PROVIDES TOBACCO CESSATION CLASSES FOR THE COMMUNITY. THE 7-WEEK EVIDENCE-BASED AMERICAN LUNG ASSOCIATION FREEDOM FROM SMOKING CLASS WAS OFFERED TEN TIMES DURING 2016 FOR TOBACCO USERS. ADVOCACY EFFORTS INCLUDED PROMOTING AND ENCOURAGING POLICY OPPORTUNITIES RELATED TO SMOKE FREE/TOBACCO FREE FACILITIES, CAMPUSES, WORKSITES, OR PUBLIC SPACES SUCH AS PARKS. ST. VINCENT HEALTHCARE PARTICIPATES IN THE COMMUNITY INNOVATIONS INITIATIVE. SPECIFICALLY ADDRESSING ISSUES OF CHRONIC PUBLIC INTOXICATION. THE MOTIVATED ADDITIONAL ALTERNATIVE PROGRAM (MAAP) PROVIDES THIS AT RISK-POPULATION WITH 12 HOURS OF INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT COUNSELING PER WEEK FOR 4 MONTHS. IN ADDITION, ST. VINCENT HEALTHCARE PARTICIPATES IN THE YELLOWSTONE COUNTY PRESCRIPTION PAIN TASK FORCE. ST. VINCENT HEALTHCARE PROVIDES FINANCIAL AND IN-KIND SUPPORT FOR ORGANIZATIONS WHICH ADDRESS OTHER IDENTIFIED HEALTH NEEDS INCLUDING THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY, AMERICAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION, ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION, AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION, MARCH OF DIMES, MS SOCIETY, PARKINSONS ASSOCIATION AND YELLOWSTONE AIDS PROJECT. EXISTING HEALTHCARE FACILITIES AND RESOURCES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY ARE AVAILABLE TO RESPOND TO HEALTH NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY NOT BEING ADDRESSED BY ST. VINCENT HEALTHCARE. ST.
