SEVERAL YEARS AGO THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE (EC) OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS WAS GIVEN A SALARY SURVEY THAT WAS CONDUCTED BY THE FLORIDA COALITION AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. THE EC USED THAT SURVEY AS A GUIDE TO BRING SERENE HARBORS PRESIDENT/CEOS SALARY IN LINE WITH INDUSTRY STANDARDS. SINCE THAT TIME THE EC HAS BEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR GATHERING ANNUAL BUDGET INFORMATION AND SETTING AN ACCEPTABLE RANGE FOR THE ANNUAL INCREASE TO BE VOTED ON BY THE FULL BOARD. THE PRESIDENT/CEO IS CONSULTED PRIOR TO THE INCREASE BEING VOTED ON SO THAT THE UPPER LIMITS ARE NOT SET BY THE BOARD OUTSIDE AN ACCEPTABLE RANGE FOR THE PROPOSED SALARY BUDGET. |
