SALARIES ARE DETERMINED FOR THESE TWO POSITIONS BASED UPON INCREASES GRANTED BY THE HEAD START REGIONAL OFFICE. NEW EMPLOYEES HIRED IN THESE TWO POSITIONS, WILL BE PAID ACCORDING TO THE CURRENT SALARY SCALE WHICH IS UPGRADED WHEN SALARY INCREASES ARE GRANTED. A WAGE COMPARABLE STUDY IS CONDUCTED EVERY TWO YEARS ALSO TO COMPARE WAGES PAID FOR SIMILAR POSITIONS. ALL INCREASES ARE APPROVED BY THE BOARD AND POLICY COUNCIL. THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S POSITION IS A DUAL ROLE POSITION AND A $5,000 SUPPLEMENT IS PAID BY THE BOARD. |
