SCHEDULE I, PART IV: PURSUANT TO ITS COMMUNITY SUPPORT POLICY, THE COOPERATIVE SUPPORTS EMPLOYEE GIVING CORPORATE MATCHING PROGRAM, SCHOOLS, CHARITIES, CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS, VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTS AND THE LIKE IN THE TWENTY-FOUR COUNTY AREA IN WHICH IT PROVIDES ELECTRICITY TO ITS MEMBERS. SUPPORT THROUGH GRANTS AND DONATIONS IS PROVIDED THROUGH VARIOUS PROGRAMS, INCLUDING THE PEC COMMUNITY GRANTS PROGRAM, EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM, MEMBER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM AND SPECIAL REQUESTS. THE COOPERATIVE'S WEBSITE, WWW.PEC.COOP/OUR-COMMUNITY, PROVIDES A DESCRIPTION OF EACH PROGRAM AND LINK TO APPLICABLE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS AND APPLICATION PROCESS OF EACH PROGRAM. THE LARGER GRANTS ARE AWARDED VIA APPLICATION AND A GRANT COMMITTEE THAT ENSURES THE FUNDS ARE BEING UTILIZED FOR THE INTENDED PROCESSES. THROUGH THE EMPLOYEE GIVING CORPORATE MATCHING PROGRAM, THE COOPERATIVE ALSO CONTRIBUTES TO THE PEC UNITED CHARITIES, WHICH IS AN EMPLOYEE RUN NONPROFIT CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES GRANTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS AS DETERMINED THROUGH THE ORGANIZATION'S ELIGIBILITY PROCESSES.
