PART I, LINE 2: APPOINTED MEMBERS OF THE ORGANIZATION'S BOARD WOULD REVIEW VENDOR BIDS BEFORE AWARDING ANY CONTRACT(S) OR WORK. THE ORGANIZATION RECENTLY ADOPTED THE POLICY OF MONITORING A GRANT PROGRESS THROUGH REQUIRING THE GRANT RECIPIENT ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE PERIODIC PROGRAMMATIC AND BUDGET TO ACTUAL FINANCIAL REPORTING UPDATES AT LEAST ANNUALLY. THE ORGANIZATION REVIEWS THE PERIODIC REPORTS AND FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND PROVIDES ANALYSIS OF SPENDING TO ENSURE ITS FUNDING IS BEING USED FOR THE APPROPRIATE PURPOSE AND AT THE RATE OF SPENDING INDICATED IN THE GRANT PROPOSAL.
