Form 990, Part III, Line 4d: Other Program Services Description | OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: Restoration program: The Conservation Lands Foundation's Restoration Program builds partnerships between veterans, conservation corps, BLM staff, local "friends" organizations and corporate donors to complete projects on the National Conservation Lands. Veterans Corps receive pay and skills training while they restore habitat, build trails, inventory resources, and install educational signs that help protect and restore natural and cultural resources. Local "friends" groups assist with volunteer labor and outreach to local media and community leaders to help amplify successful outcomes of the projects. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: Western Artic Program: The Conservation Lands Foundation is leading a coalition of conservation groups, scientists, sportsmen and community members and working with Alaska Natives to advance meaningful protections for the Western Arctic's 11 million acres of Special Areas while ensuring that oil and gas development on lands available for leasing causes the least amount of impact to the region's sensitive lands and wildlife. |
