Explanation |
Part II:
The Organization hosts events periodically, where it invites both donors and prospective donors to gather and learn more about the Organization and its activities. The Organization provides updates to attendees regarding the Organization's program activities and informs attendees of new activities and initiatives. Attendees are invited at the discretion of the Organization, and there is no charge to attend the events. There is no expectation that a contribution is required to be made in order to attend the events. Any donations received from attendees at the events are completely voluntary and are given without receiving or expecting to receive goods or services in exchange for the payment, and therefore are treated as contributions by the Organization.
Part III:
During the year, the Organization conducted one raffle during a fundraising event. The raffle activity is infrequent and is conducted by both volunteers and employees of the Organization. The Organization has consulted with its legal counsel regarding activities to ensure that applicable state requirements have been met with respect to these activities.
Part III, Line 11:
The Organization does not have members.
