SCHEDULE I, PART I, LINE 2 ORGANIZATION'S PROCEDURE FOR MONITORING USE OF GRANT FUNDS FROM ThE PBATS WEBSITE OR VIA A MASS EMAIL TO OUR MEMBERS (PRIMARILY MINOR LEAGUE MEMBERS) WE RECEIVE APPLICATIONS FOR PBATS SCHOLARSHIPS. ONCE THE INFORMATION IS RECEIVED BY PAUL LESSARD, NOW WITH THE WASHINGTON NATIONALS, AND A PBATS MEMBER, HE COMPILES THE NAMES. THIS FORM IS THEN CIRCULATED TO THE PBATS BOARD AND THE BOARD READS ALL APPLICATIONS AND THEN RANKS THEIR PREFERENCES. THAT RANKING FORM IS THEN RETURNED TO PAUL AND HE TALLIES THE FINDINGS FROM ALL BOARD MEMBERS AND THEN ANNOUNCES THE WINNERS. A CHECK IS THEN SENT TO THE SCHOOL WHERE THEY WILL TAKE CONTINUING EDUCATION OR THE INDIVIDUAL WILL BE REIMBURSED FOR NON-UNIVERSITY SEMINARS THEY ATTEND. NO PAYMENT IS GIVEN WITHOUT PROPER RECEIPTS.
