Part I, Line 2: Democracy Fund Voice conducts due diligence on its prospective grantees, including reviewing proposals, budgets, and key organizational information. With each of its grantees, Democracy Fund Voice established detailed grant agreements that govern the use of grant funds and include narrative and financial report requirements. Grant reporting under the grant agreement is reviewed by program and grants management staff. The grantee's reporting is often supplemented by meetings, phone conversations, and emails with Democracy Fund Voice staff.
