PART I, LINE 2: MANY OF OUR COMPONENT FUNDS ARE SET UP TO AWARD FUNDS TO LOCAL DOCUMENTED CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS ON AN ANNUAL BASIS. FOR COMPETITIVE GRANTS, THE GRANT-SEEKING ORGANIZATION PROVIDES DOCUMENTATION AS TO THEIR CHARITABLE STATUS AND/OR THE CHARITABLE NATURE OF THE PROJECT. OUR DISTRIBUTION COMMITTEE MEETS, REVIEWS ALL APPLICATIONS RECEIVED, AND RECOMMENDS WHICH PROGRAMS TO FUND, AS WELL AS THE AMOUNT OF FUNDING TO PROVIDE TO EACH RECIPIENT. A YEAR-END REPORT IS REQUIRED FROM EACH GRANTEE TO DOCUMENT PROPER USE OF THE FUNDS AWARDED. SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS FOLLOW SIMILAR PROCEDURES, USING THE APPROPRIATE SELECTION COMMITTEE.
