THE ORGANIZATION REGULARLY HOLDS BUSINESS MEETINGS, SOCIAL MEETINGS AND SCIENCE FICTION BOOK DISCUSSION GROUPS FOR MEMBERS AND THE PUBLIC. OTHER PUBLIC OFFERINGS INCLUDE PRESENTATION OF MOVIES, ANIME, AND SESSIONS OF GAMING INCLUDING TABLE TOP GAMES SUCH AS BOARD GAMES, ROLE PLAYING GAMES, AND LIVE ACTION ROLE PLAYING.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 A person who has attended at least two business meetings within a 12 month period and pays dues is eligible to become member. A member who donates an amount equal to 10 years of annual dues may become a life member. Members may vote on matters presented at business meetings and in elections for officers and directors. Members may attend the annual Baltimore Science Fantasy Convention without additional charge.

(B) LIFE MEMBERS SHALL HAVE ALL THE PRIVILEGES OF ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP FOR LIFE. Form 990, Part XI, Line 9 In FY 2017 3315 Change in the Method of Accounting was filed disclosing the full depreciation of the building had not been recorded. A subsequent review determined that the value of the building remained overstated by $6860, including $2500 for the value of a redeemed ground rent and that depreciation was overstated by $4,087. The net value of these two errors totals the $10,947 prior period adjustment shown in this filing.
