Return Reference Explanation
Part I, Line 2: Grant funds are provided to charitable organizations for the purpose of enhancing and promoting health care and improving quality of life in the community. The organization has guidelines in place to review the eligibility of grantees and how funds will be used, and all grants require written documentation and appropriate levels of approval. When an organization receives a charitable contribution from Covenant Health, a letter confirming how funds must be used to support the organization's request is sent to the organization. Recipient organizations verify use of funds in one or more of the following ways: follow-up reports or newsletters, sponsor acknowledgement at a program or event or on their charity's website, itemized receipts, or year-end summaries.
