Form 990, Part III, Line 4d: Other Program Services Description OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: Center for Jewish Living and Learning: The Center is committed to creating a vibrant and welcoming environment that encourages people to lead engaged Jewish lives of meaning and purpose. The J is a destination for Jewish experiences and connection for people of all ages, from infants to adults. 200 learners participate in adult Jewish education through the Melton & More program as well as other lectures and programs annually. 500 families benefit from our Mispacha and Me outreach programs. The Center also offers many cultural art experiences including the Ann and Stephen Kaufman Jewish Book & Arts festival, Dance at the J, the Houston Jewish Film Festival, DocuJews documentary film series, Friday Night Lights dinner and arts events, in-house theater productions, and family performing arts series. In all, an estimated 11,600 individuals attend these wonderful and enriching events.

Form 990, Part VI, Line 12c: Explanation of Monitoring and Enforcement of Conflicts At the new Board member orientation and at the first Board meeting of each new fiscal year, policies related to conflicts of interest are reviewed by the Board President and Chief Executive Officer.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 15a: Compensation Review & Approval Process - CEO, Top Management The compensation of the Chief Executive Officer is periodically reviewed and approved by the Board President and other members of the Executive Committee. The most recent compensation review occurred in May 2019, and the review covered a three year term ending May 2022.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 15b: Compensation Review and Approval Process for Officers and Key Employees Supervisors complete performance evaluations for all staff annually. The CEO reviews performance evaluations and industry compensation data to determine compensation on an annual basis.
