Form 990, Part III, Line 3 | Due to the pandemic there was a significant increase in unemployment and the ability to pay rent and/or mortgages. It became apparent that participants needed more stabilization support first without which they could not focus on career training, job readiness and/or career changes. Schools were closed and the need for food, clothing, housing and other basic necessities became imperative. The organization made significant changes by increasing its focus and stabilization footprint in order to ensure that clients are stabilized first-providing rental assistance, mortgage assistance, food, clothing and other basic necessities then helping clients navigate upskilling and employment assistance. |
