ANGELS ON PATROL AOP STAFF THEN QUALIFY THOSE REFERRALS TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH AOPS MISSION AND VISION OF CRISIS INTERVENTION AND YOUTH ENRICHMENT. ALL REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE ARE CONSIDERED AND REVIEWED BY STAFF COMMITTEE, FOLLOWING THE GUIDELINES ESTABLISHED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. IT IS THEN FURTHER REVIEWED BY A SUB-COMMITTEE OF THE BOARD TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH AOPS MISSION. THE BOARD REVIEWS AND DISCUSSES THE MONTHLY SUMMARY REPORT OF FUNDS AND GOODS DISTRIBUTED DURING ITS BI-MONTHLY BOARD MEETINGS. NONCASH ITEMS ARE PURCHASED BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF ANGELS ON PATROL FOR SPECIFIC APPLICANT NEEDS, OR GRANTS ARE PAID DIRECTLY TO THE APPLICANTS CREDITORS TO ENSURE FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY TO THE DONORS WHO CONTRIBUTE TO THE ORGANIZATION. CASH IS NOT DIRECTLY PROVIDED TO THE CHILDREN OR FAMILY IN NEED.
