The membership of Mountrail Bethel Home, Inc. consists of the voting members of the congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America or its successor, in the event that the successor votes to participate. Other congregations may become members by invitation only. Membership of this corporation shall be made up of at least 51% Lutheran congregations. Current membership includes: American Lutheran Church, Stanley; Our Saviors Free Lutheran Church, Stanley; First English Free Church, Lostwood; Zion Lutheran Church, Berthold; Faith Lutheran Church, Palermo; Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Ross; Knife River Lutheran Church, Stanley; Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Powers Lake. The voting membership of the annual corporation meeting and of any specially called meeting shall consist of at least 2 lay delegates and one pastor for each congregation which was voted to participate. Congregations having more than 200 confirmed members may have one additional delegate for each (100) confirmed members or major fraction thereof over the first 200. |
