OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: RE-ENTRY SERVICES - OUR BREAKING CHAINS PROGRAM REACHES OUT TO MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE INCARCERATED WITH THE LOVE OF CHRIST, DISCIPLES THEM, AND EQUIPS THEM TO LIVE HEALTHY, PRODUCTIVE LIVES IN OUR COMMUNITY WHEN THEY ARE RELEASED. UPON THEIR RELEASE, WE OFFER CASE MANAGEMENT TO HELP EX-OFFENDERS CONNECT TO HOUSING, EMPLOYMENT, AND COMMUNITY RESOURCES. IN 2020, OUR RE-ENTRY CASE MANAGER ASSISTED 104 EX-OFFENDERS AND PROVIDED ONGOING CASE MANAGEMENT TO 48 PEOPLE. ONLY 10 RECIDIVATED, 24 WERE MOVED INTO HOUSING, 15 WERE RECONNECTED WITH FAMILY, 7 COMPLETED AN ACCOUNTABILITY GROUP, AND 32 FOUND A JOB OR WERE ENROLLED IN SCHOOL. DURING THE PANDEMIC, OUR RE-ENTRY CASE MANAGER MOVED HOMELESS EX-OFFENDERS WHO COULD NOT STAY IN LOCAL SHELTERS INTO MOTELS, ASSISTING 21 HOUSEHOLDS (28 INDIVIDUALS) IN SECURING MOTEL ROOMS AND PROVIDING THEM CASE MANAGEMENT UNTIL THEY COULD OBTAIN PERMANENT HOUSING. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: ADVANCE LEXINGTON - We help individuals obtain employment through job placement services. We partner with local businesses who hire workers on a temporary basis through our staffing service as well as on a permanent basis. Our staff conducts initial employment assessments to help clients identify potential employers, and program participants receive help with their job search, including assistance with creating resumes and cover letters, filling out online job applications, obtaining IDs, procuring interview attire and work clothing, getting bus passes, and other needs. |

Officers and directors are sent a copy of the Form 990 in advance of filing the form with the IRS with instructions to review and direct questions and comments to the Executive Director for possible corrections or amendments that need to be made. |

Officers, directors, and key employees annually complete a questionairre that is reviewed by the Board to determine the extent, if any, of any real, perceived, or potential conflicts of interest. The Board's conflict of interest policy is distributed to the Board and reviewed prior to Board members completing the questionnaire. |

The Executive Director's compensation is approved by the Board each year. Comparable compensation data is reviewed by the Board's compensation committee, which is normally made up of the Board's officers, and the committee presents its findings and recommendations to the full Board for its approval, which is documented in the Board's meeting minutes. |
