Form 990, Part VI, Line 15b: Compensation Review and Approval Process for Officers and Key Employees | The Executive Committee of the Board conducts a review of the Executive Director annually and reports results for additional comment and approval to the full Board. Compensation is reviewed based on performance. A comprehensive salary survey from an outside third-party source is reviewed from time to time, as necessary, to determine comparable compensation levels based on geographic market, size of organization and type of services provided. The final compensation recommendation of the committee is approved by the full Board. The Executive Committee subsequently reviews organizational salary ranges for consistency with comparable ranges for like positions in the area based on third party salary survey. The Executive Director has authority to set other staff salaries within approved ranges and based on organizational approved budget. A record of the Board approvals are recorded as part of the meetings minutes. |
