RECEIVED PROPOSALS ARE REVIEWED BY A COMBINATION OF FUND FOR OUR ECONOMIC FUTURE ("FUND") STAFF, BOARD MEMBERS, AND, FROM TIME TO TIME, INVITED EXPERTS. AWARDS ARE APPROVED BASED ON AUTHORITY OUTLINED IN FUND CODE OF REGULATIONS, WITH LEVEL OF FUND BOARD APPROVAL REQUIRED INCREASING WITH INCREASED MAGNITUDE OF AWARD (E.G., AWARDS OF $100,000 OR MORE ARE APPROVED BY THE FULL BOARD). MONITORING OF ACTIVE GRANTS INCLUDES: REGULAR REPORTING TO FUND STAFF AND A COMMITTEE OF FUND BOARD MEMBERS AND/OR BOARD PARTICIPANTS. FUNDING RELEASE IS TIED TO PROGRESS AGAINST STATED GOALS.
