Form 990, Part VI, Line 15A The Board of Directors has the responsibility to recruit, hire, and monitor the work of the Executive Director. The Executive Director is an employee of the Board and as such is required to implement policy. The Executive Director receives an annual evaluation conducted by the personnel committee which is submitted to the executive committee and approved by the Board of Directors. Prior to hiring an Executive Director, the Board of Directors reviews comparable salary data for the area to determining what the salary range will be.
