OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: Maria Duran Scholarship and ISD Global Education Awards - To honor the memory of Maria M. Duran, MD, former Secretary-General and Executive Vice-President of the International Society of Dermatology, the Maria M. Duran Committee recognizes potential future female leaders in international dermatology by awarding the Maria Duran Fellowship. One to two fellowships of up to US $1,000 each year to attend an ISD meeting where she will present a poster or oral presentation and registration fees to that meeting will be paid.Global Education Awards - ISD Global Education Awards and Travel Scholarships - The ISD provides Global Education Awards for ISD sponsored meetings including the International Congresses of Dermatology and the Continental Congresses. Candidates for the award should be at the equivalent level of U.S. residents, fellows, or post-doctoral instructors to be considered for this award and 35 years old or younger. Scholarships are available for young dermatologists, under 35 years old to attend ISD sponsored regional meetings. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: ISD Mentorship Program - Promote the advancement and exchange of scientific and clinical dermatological information worldwide for the purpose of providing better patient care on every continent. Available to young Dermatologists/Residents who are ISD Members to enhance dermatological knowledge and skills through a fellowship program in which they will receive $1000 US per month from the ISD up to $3000 US for 3 full months. |

Associate Member - This category is suggested for residents/medical students of any country, or dermatologists currently practicing in developing countries. Associates cannot hold elected office or vote on Society matters.3.Individual Sponsor Member- This category is for individuals wishing to help sponsor memberships from developing countries or trainees from any country. HAS the SAME privileges and benefits of Regular Membership. |

A DRAFT OF THE RETURN IS COMPILED JOINTLY BY THE TAX PREPARER, (THE ORGANIZATION'S. INDEPENDENT ACCOUNTANT) AND THE Organization's OUTSIDE BOOKKEEPING FIRM. Upon compiling and reviewing all data, the tax preparer will submit a DRAFT for REVIEW to THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR ACCURACY AND COMPLETENESS. Upon approval of the draft copy, a FINAL RETURN IS THEN processed BY THE TAX PREPARER. The return is then REsubmitted to taxpayer for a FINAL review. UPON ACCEPTANCE THE RETURN IS THEN SIGNED BY OFFICER AND the RETURN IS SUBMITTED for filing. A PDF VERSION OF THE FINAL RETURN is AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST TO THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE FOR REVIEW AND ANY COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS. |
