Return Reference Explanation
Procedures for Monitoring Grants Texas Health Resources Foundation (THRF) is a member of the Texas Health Resources (THR) healthcare system. The majority of the grants distributed by THRF are to related tax exempt organizations. THRF does not pay grants in advance to related organizations. Related organizations request reimbursement for their qualified expenses, by submitting a request containing documentation that will enable THFR to verify the funds are being used properly. Grants to non-related tax exempt organizations are generally given to entities that are working closely with the THR organization. THRF is able to monitor the use of these funds through their activities with THR employees.
Purposes for Inter-Company Grants The THR Foundation routinely provides funds in the form of contributions/grants to the related organizations in the Texas Health system of hospitals that it supports for many purposes throughout the year. These purposes include, but are not limited to, Education, General Operations, Capital Projects, Community Outreach, Research, Vision and Patient Assistance
