Explanation:
The Freestyle Foundation mailed off via USPS the Form 990 which was received in Ogden, UT on May 18, 2021. No where in the 990 instructions did we see that it had to be filed electronically for 2020. The IRS sent The Freestyle Foundation a letter dated November 19, 2021 and returned the Form 990 which was not received by us until December 18, 2021. We do not feel that it is fair that we are penalized when 1) the IRS sat on the form for 6 months and 2) now we are unable to file electronically as the website for electronic filing is down until sometime in January.
