THE COMBINED TEAMS PARTICIPATED IN FOUR REGATTAS, AND A SELECT GROUP OF ATHLETES ROWED AT THE HEAD OF THE CHARLES REGATTA, DURING THE FALL, 2020 SEASON. AND, WHILE OUR SPRING, 2021 SEASON CONTINUED TO BE BY IMPACTED BY A GLOBAL PANDEMIC, THE TEAM COMPETED IN FOUR MAJOR EVENTS INCLUDING THE MIDWEST SCHOLASTIC ROWING ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIP REGATTA, STATES REGATTA, AND NATIONALS (SCHOLASTIC ROWING ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA). WE CONTINUED TO FOCUS TRAINING ROWERS ON NOT JUST BUILDING PHYSICAL STRENGTH BUT EMOTIONAL RESILIENCY. WE ALSO OVERSAW THE TEAM'S COVID19 TESTING, HAVING EACH ROWER TESTED ON A WEEKLY BASIS. |
