PART I, LINE 2: THE UNIVERSITY'S USE OF GRANT FUNDS IS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL AID TO OUR STUDENTS. WE MONITOR THE USE OF THESE UNIVERSITY FUNDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH ESTABLISHED LEVELS OF AWARDS BASED ON A STUDENT'S MERIT CLASSIFICATION AND ON AN ANNUAL BUDGET. THE UNIVERSITY FOLLOWS ALL REGULATIONS RELATIVE TO THE AWARDING OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WHICH IS MONITORED BY THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE. THE UNIVERSITY RECEIVED CARES ACT AND HEERF FUND DISTRIBUTIONS FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. THESE FUNDS WERE DIRECTED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO BE DISTRIBUTED TO STUDENTS WHO WERE FINANCIALLY IMPACTED BY COVID 19. THE UNIVERSITY ACTED AS A PASS THROUGH OF THESE FUNDS AS THEY WERE RECEIVED AND THEN DISTRIBUTED VIA CHECK TO THOSE STUDENTS WITH MOST NEED AS A RESULT OF THE PANDEMIC.
