PART I, LINE 2: ORGANIZATION GRANTS: (A) MEMBER SECTION ALLOTMENTS: THE ASSOCIATION'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS APPROVES ANNUAL ALLOTMENTS EACH YEAR PAYABLE TO ITS MEMBER SECTIONS. THIS ALLOTMENT PROVIDES OPERATIONAL SUPPORT TO THE MEMBER SECTIONS FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR. (B) CONTRIBUTIONS PAYABLE WATER FOR PEOPLE: AWWA MAINTAINS A PROGRAM WHEREBY A VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTION IS MADE TO WATER FOR PEOPLE IN SUPPORT OF THEIR ORGANIZATIONAL ACTIVITIES. INDVIDUALS: FUNDS ARE DISTRIBUTED AS AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO RECIPIENTS. SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS SUPPORT EDUCATION FEES. IN REGARDS TO THE WOLMAN AWARD - MID-WAY THROUGH THE YEAR OF SUPPORT, AWWA REQUESTS FROM THE STUDENT A LETTER STATING THE PROGRESS TOWARDS THEIR DEGREE TO INCLUDE AN ABSTRACT OF RESEARCH, AND ALSO A LETTER FROM THEIR ADVISOR WITH SIMLIAR INFORMATION.
