The policy ensures that employees conduct themselves in a professional manner in order to avoid actual or potential conflicts of interest. The policy endures that when an employee is in doubt concerning the proper application of conflict of interest, he or she should promptly discuss the matter with the Excecutive Director and refrain from exercising responsibility on the Organization's behalf in any manner that might cause any adverse effect. Failure to disclose the fact of a conflict or potential conflict may constitute grounds for disciplinary action. Compliance with the conflict of interest policy is monitored and reviewed during the meeting of the Board of the Directors. |
