LAWRENCEVILLE'S COLLECTION OF ART IS BROKEN DOWN INTO THREE CATEGORIES: PERMANENT COLLECTION (ART THAT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY REVIEWED TO BE INCLUDED IN THIS CATEGORY); FURNISHINGS COLLECTION (ART THAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PERMANENT COLLECTION, HOWEVER IT HAS A VALUE AS DECORATIVE ART OR FOR TEACHING PURPOSES); AND LAWRENCEVILLE COLLECTION (WORK BY ALUMNI, THAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE PART OF THE PERMANENT COLLECTION AS WELL).
