PART I, LINE 2: THE HERITAGE FOUNDATION ("THF") AWARDS THE INNOVATION AND ACADEMIC PRIZES TO FINANCIALLY SUPPORT INNOVATIVE PUBLIC POLICY SOLUTIONS TO THE MOST PRESSING ISSUES FACING AMERICA. THE INNOVATION AND ACADEMIC PRIZES WERE ESTABLISHED TO RECOGNIZE AND ADVANCE INNOVATIVE PROJECTS, STRATEGIES, AND EFFORTS OF ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE SEEKING TO ENSURE THE FUTURE OF AMERICAN SELF-GOVERNANCE. THF IS NOT A GRANT-MAKING ORGANIZATION. THE PRIZES AND/OR GRANTS THAT WERE AWARDED TO QUALIFYING ORGANIZATIONS IN 2022 WERE APPROXIMATELY LESS THAN TWO PERCENT OF TOTAL ANNUAL EXPENSES.
