FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION B, LINE 15 HE PRESIDENT'S PERFORMANCE REVIEW COMMITTEE CONDUCTS AN ANNUAL EVALUATION OF THE PRESIDENT CEO'S PERFORMANCE AND COMPENSATION. THE COMMITTEE IS COMPOSED OF ALL PAST BOARD CHAIRPERSONS WHO REMAIN ELECTED TRUSTEES, THE CURRENT CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR OF THE BOARD, AND THE CHAIR OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE. THIS COMMITTEE REVIEWS THE CHILD WELFARE LEAGUE OF AMERICA'S SALARY STUDY TO DOCUMENT INDUSTRY PARAMETERS FOR COMPENSATION PAID TO CEOS OF SIMILAR SIZE ORGANIZATIONS. THE COMMITTEE ALSO TAKES INTO ACCOUNT COST OF LIVING CONSIDERATIONS AND THE TOTAL EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE OF THE CEO IN SETTING APPROPRIATE COMPENSATION. THE PRESIDENT/CEO DETERMINES COMPENSATION FOR ALL OTHER OFFICERS USING AN ORGANIZATIONAL SALARY SCALE. THIS SCALE IS ESTABLISHED THROUGH REVIEW OF COMPARABILITY SALARY STUDY DATA, COST OF LIVING CONSIDERATION, AND TOTAL EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE OF THE OFFICER IN QUESTION.
