Until a staff is hired, the work of FirstPerson will be managed by the founder, executive director, board committee members, and contract employees to execute the following: 1. Holistic, trauma-sensitive personal storytelling programs facilitated by certified Expressive Arts Therapists 2. FirstPerson Method certification program for coaching applicants interested in facilitating holistic, trauma-sensitive, personal-narrative storytelling, expressive arts, and posterity programs in communities around Chicagoland. 3. Legacy-preserving Posterity programs that are facilitated by staff, volunteers, and interns trained to work with the user to co-produce documentary-style digital storytelling films about the user's life. 4. Expressive Arts programming in movement, music, drama, comedy, improv, and other art-making experiences facilitated by Expressive Arts Therapists and professionals trained in the FirstPerson method. 5. Performance coaches and producers witl1 experience in storytelling, music, and other expressive arts to support users as they prepare to share their stories on stage or in posterity projects. |
