Form 990, Part III | The Council provided other program services for its members and their families that promoted the fraternal mission, church support and Patriotic missions of the organization. Thes included memorial masses for its deceased members, a Labor Day Picnic for members and their families. |
Form 990, Part IV, Line 1 | The Deputy Grand Knight was also the Program Director responsible for managing all the committees which inplemented all programs planned for the Fraternal year. They include the activities listed above as well as the Church and Familiy committees. The Financial Secretary is recommended by the trustees of the Council, but is appointed by the Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus. The Financial Secretary maintains the council information in the Supreme Council's membership management system, issues warrants to pay bills, generates bills for members as well as membership cards, collects funds to transfer to the Treasurer, coordinates membership status with the Order's insurance agents and prepares reports of the Council's financial transactions. The Financial Secretary, Treasurer and Trustees conduct semi-annual audits. The Grand Knight leads the council in all matters, attends quarterly state council meetings and presides over at least one business meeting per month. |
