SCHEDULE I, PAGE 1, PART I, LINE 2 FINANCIAL AID IS MADE TO INDIGENT RESIDENTS OF JUNEAU AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES OF NORTHERN SOUTHEAST ALASKA FOR ENERGY ASSISTANCE, MEDICAL EMERGENCIES, MONETARY ASSISTANCE, RENT, TRAVEL AND FAMILY SUPPORT. MUCH OF THE MONEY IS DISBURSED DIRECTLY TO THIRD PARTIES (SUCH AS RENT ASSISTANCE PAID TO THE LANDLORD). THE REST OF THE PAYMENTS ARE MADE TO LOCAL RESIDENTS WHO REMAIN IN JUNEAU.
SCHEDULE I, PAGE 4, PART IV PART III, COLUMN (A): TYPE OF GRANT OR ASSISTANCE: FAMILY ASSISTANCE - VARIOUS PAYMENTS TO HELP KEEP THE FAMILY INTACT. PAYMENTS ARE FOR A VARIETY OF PURPOSES INCLUDING CLOTHING, FOOD, CHILD CARE AND BASIC LIVING COSTS ARE ARE MADE PRIMARILY TO RESIDENTS OF THE FACILITY. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES CLOTHING VOUCHERS THAT ALLOW THOSE IN NEED TO OBTAIN CLOTHING FROM THE THRIFT STORE.
