SWIMGA'S MERIT SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT IS SELECTED BY THE OFFICE OF ACADEMIC PROGRAMS WITH APPROVAL OF THE HEAD OF HORTICULTURE AND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE DEPARTMENT AND DEAN OF THE COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE. THE RECIPIENT (1) MUST HAVE GRADUATED FROM A GIBSON, POSEY, VANDERBURGH, OR WARRICK COUNTY, INDIANA HIGH SCHOOL; (2) MUST BE A FULL TIME STUDENT IN THE DEPARTMENT OF HORTICULTURE AND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE AT PURDUE, AND (3) MAJORING IN A HORTICULTURE RELATED FIELD WITH A MINIMUM 3.0 CUMULATIVE GRADE POINT AVERAGE. SWIMGA'S SCHOLARSHIP IS SELECTED BY THE OFFICE OF ACADEMIC PROGRAMS WITH APPROVAL OF THE HEAD OF HORTICULTURE AND LANDSCAPE ARHITECTURE DEPARTMENT AND DEAN OF THE COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE. IT WILL BE AWARDED BASED ON THE FINANCIAL NEED AS DETERMINED BY PURDUE'S DIVISION OF FINANCIAL AID. THE RECIPIENT (1) MUST HAVE GRADUATED FROM A GIBSON, POSEY, VANDERBURGH, OR WARRICK COUNTY, INDIANA HIGH SCHOOL; (2) MUST BE A FULL TIME STUDENT IN THE DEPARTMENT OF HORTICULTURE AND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE AT PURDUE, AND (3) MAJORING IN A HORTICULTURE RELATED FIELD WITH A CUMULATIVE GRADE POINT AVERAGE OF 2.65. PURDUE UNIVERSITY DOES THE SELECTING SUBJECT TO THEIR SELECTION RULES WHICH COVER THE EQUAL OPPORTUNITY ISSUES. |
