FORM 990, SCHEDULE I, PART 1, LINE 2 REISHER FAMILY FOUNDATION TRUSTEES, MARY REISHER AND NANCY REISHER, SERVE AS TWO OF THE SEVEN COMMITTEE MEMBERS OF THE REISHER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM AT THE DENVER FOUNDATION. EACH YEAR, THIS COMMITTEE SELECTS SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS FROM A LIST OF CANDIDATES SUBMITTED BY THE EIGHT UNIVERSITIES IN THE REISHER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM. GRADE POINT AVERAGES AS WELL AS OTHER PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS ARE MONITORED EACH SEMESTER TO ENSURE THAT ALL RECIPIENTS REMAIN WITHIN THE GUIDELINES OF THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM. PERTINENT INFORMATION RELATED TO THE MONITORING OF GRANTS MADE TO SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS IS KEPT AT THE OFFICES OF THE REISHER FAMILY FOUNDATION. THE ADMINISTRATION AND THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT OF THE DENVER FOUNDATION FURNISH QUARTERLY FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE REISHER SCHOLARS FUND TO THE FAMILY FOUNDATION. THESE STATEMENTS INCLUDE DETAILED INFORMATION ON THE DOLLAR AMOUNTS OF GRANTS MADE TO SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS. SUBSTANTIATING INFORMATION IS SENT FROM THE IMPACT GROUP AT THE DENVER FOUNDATION WHICH IS THEN REVIEWED AGAINST THE QUARTERLY STATEMENT INFORMATION TO VERIFY THAT ALL RECIPIENT NAMES AND GRANT AMOUNTS MATCH.
