THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND VP-FINANCE ARE EMPLOYED BY THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY. PART OF THEIR DUTIES INCLUDE PROVIDING MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO PIDS FOUNDATION. THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF PIDS FOUNDATION IS ACTUALLY EMPLOYED BY IDSA AND CONTRACTED OUT TO PIDS FOUNDATION AT ACTUAL COSTS; THUS, IDSA'S COMPENSATION PROCESS IS USED IN REGARDS TO ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION OF PIDS' EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR ALTHOUGH THE FINAL COMPENSATION DECISION IS MADE BY THE PIDS BOARD OF DIRECTORS USING COMPARABILITY DATA, AND CONTEMPORANEOUS SUBSTANTIATION OF THE DELIBERATION AND DECISION. ALL NEW EMPLOYEES WILL RECEIVE AN INITIAL PERFORMANCE REVIEW WITHIN THREE TO SIX MONTHS OF THE DATE OF HIRE. THE DATE OF THE INITIAL PERFORMANCE REVIEW WILL BE DETERMINED AT THE THREE MONTH ANNIVERSARY DATE, EVEN IF THE ACTUAL REVIEW OCCURS LATER IN THE THREE TO SIX MONTH PERIOD. AFTER THAT, EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE WILL BE REVIEWED AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR ON OR ABOUT A FIXED REVIEW DATE. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION IS BASED ON QUALITY/QUANTITY OF WORK, TECHNICAL COMPETENCE, RESPONSIBILITY AND JUDGMENT, INITIATIVE AND ADAPTABILITY, DEPENDABILITY, COOPERATION, ATTENDANCE, PUNCTUALITY, ATTITUDE, AND QUALITY OF PERFORMANCE. ALL OF THESE ARE PRINCIPAL FACTORS IN CONSIDERING SALARY AND ANY COMPENSATION ADJUSTMENTS. |
