It’s been 14 years since Hurricane Katrina hit and left our coastal communities suffering. I’ll never forget the devastation. But I also will never forget the resilience and hope that I saw in the wake of Katrina.

I’m proud that as AG, I assisted our coastal residents by recovering $114 million from large insurance companies that tried to escape their responsibilities to policyholders, and prosecuting offenders for home repair fraud, price gouging, identity theft, and financial scams.
