The Supreme Court Shelby v. Holder decision gutted the ability of the Voting Rights Act to combat voter suppression and discrimination. Today, I voted to pass H.R. 4, the Voting Rights Advancement Act, to restore the full strength of the VAR to protect everyone’s right to vote.
