In 1980, my neighbor made 22K working at a paper mill w/just a HS diploma. Adjusted for inflation, that's the same as $73,238 today. He's a master's & doesn’t make $73,238. He made more as a HS grad at a factory in '80 than he does today w/college ed & 35 yrs experience. Sobering
