@mattyglesias I propose using approval voting in jungle primaries. This would allow for multiple parties and competitive elections in every single member district. Politicians would have incentive to appeal to those rural Democrats and urban Republicans improving overall representation.

@ClayShentrup I agree that going away from first past the post would help remove bad politicians. Even so, I think a term limit of 12 years would better balance long term problem solving and short term election concerns
