We are seeing our largest rise in cases since early spring. Like we did back then, Vermonters can rise to the challenge and slow the spread of COVID-19. To do this, we must strictly follow @healthvermont guidelines: -Limit Gatherings -Wear a Mark -Keep 6 feet apart

I want to remind folks that I have extended the State of Emergency for another month. Again, this is a tool we need in order to continue to manage the public health risks of the pandemic, which has not gone away despite our success here in Vermont. 1/
To all Vermonters celebrating #RoshHashanah, I wish you and your family a happy and health new year.
To help make it easier for travelers to comply and for lodging facilities to help them do so, we’re also moving our travel map update and modeling presentation to Tuesdays. This will give folks a few more days to see the latest map and adjust their travel plans. 9/10
Agriculture is critical to Vermont’s rural economy and these dollars will keep our eye on the future. A strong dairy sector is essential to growing our economy. We’re so grateful for @SenatorLeahy’s leadership in creating these innovative programs and bringing them to Vermont. A PCR test, which is recommended to confirm the antigen result, has been conducted for 52 of the 65 individuals so far. Of those 52 people, 48 tested negative. Four people tested positive and are considered confirmed COVID-19 cases. 2/3
