So politicians claim HR1 is crucial to prevent states from taking away voting rights. (which isn't true) But why isn't their legislation that withholds federal funding from states who break their own constitution and executive powers like @JBPritzker?

Requiring an ID to vote is racist. When elected, I’ll introduce legislation that outlaws IDs. You need an ID to: Visit the White House/Congress Fly Buy or rent a home Buy liquor See an R rated movie Buy an electric car I will call it the MLK civil rights bill or the NASA bill
