Crime has become a crisis in Central Connecticut. Hartford had its deadliest year in nearly 20 years with 35 homicides, 4 of them children, including one who was three years old. We need a Congressman who will prioritize and public safety, unlike @JohnLarsonCT. @CTGOP @NRCC https://t.co/6CR6swSmQt

The tragedy of Sandy Hook will never be forgotten. We saw horror that no place should ever experience. We saw heros put their lives on the line to protect children in the face of an armed assault. Coordination of mental health services with reasonable gun safety can help.

Maybe citizens of Connecticut ought to make that decision, not career politicians. Connecticut taxpayers are fed up with that routine- we want common sense results.

Shouldn’t @JohnLarsonCT work on legislation that will help promote the economy, attract businesses to our state, and stop the flow of workers out of Connecticut.

It’s time for a change. I’ve spent my life getting the job for my patients and as your Congressman, I’ll work everyday to get results.

How about legislation that strengthens border security that has become a complete disaster under @JoeBiden? What about the highway renovations @JohnLarsonCT has talked about for 15 years, is anything in the $1 trillion infrastructure bill?

Today’s press conference in East Hartford with @SpeakerPelosi, @JohnLarsonCT gave us more of the old school political song and dance. Women and children will be reduced to what amounts to modern day slavery. And what did @JohnLarsonCT call of this decision in April to withdraw all presence? “A historic change of course.” He applauded President Biden’s decision.

But is it the right decision? I believe it’s not. In only the last week, Taliban forces have reclaimed strategic positions and it looks as if they will retake the country in a matter of weeks. Thousands upon thousands of Afghanis are in imminent threat of violence and death.
