I’m a proud Navy vet, but today I’m wishing a Happy Birthday to the U.S. Army! As we mark up the NDAA this month, I will be fighting to ensure the Army’s modernization efforts continue to thrive at @Picatinny_NJ here in NJ-11. #Army247 #ArmyBDay https://t.co/Q54BAKWtSX
Since the Equal Pay Act was signed into law 59 years ago today, women have made great strides in the workplace and in our economy. Today, we celebrate this achievement and recommit ourselves to the work yet to be done to close the wage gap. https://t.co/RGEInhmJBC
Women make up the fastest growing segment of our country’s veterans. Last week, I joined the Event Honoring Women Veterans hosted by the NJ Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and the American Legion to honor their service and discuss the issues faced by women veterans. https://t.co/BfYDdOZqh9

March Madness might be over, but my fight for gender equity isn’t. U.S. Women's Soccer made it this far, it’s time the NCAA steps up. https://t.co/UDHa7xwJEI
Great to be in my hometown for our annual Pride Month flag raising. Montclair has a long history of being a town that welcomes LGBTQ+ families & offers kids a place where they can grow up their most authentic selves. When we support families & kids, our whole community thrives. https://t.co/EGlC3ZtEr6
This year, 29 NJ-11 students were appointed and accepted offers to begin their service to our nation at the U.S. Naval, Military, Air Force, and Merchant Marine Academies. I am proud of their decision to serve our country and wish them the best of luck going forward! https://t.co/szyGqeGJSZ

Thank you @Picatinny_NJ B.G. Boruff for your heartfelt remarks. A very special tribute to have two F-16s fly over the parade. So proud that my office was able to help the Parade Committee make that moment possible.
This morning’s Memorial Day ceremony in Morris Plains was a touching community salute to our service members who gave their lives for our country. It was an honor to join Mayor Karr, the Borough Council, VFW Post 3401, American Legion Post 390, & local electeds for the ceremony. https://t.co/gvbfrIKY6q

I had a thoughtful discussion with members of Temple B'nai Or Renaissance Group and Morristown Jewish Center about the critical need to address antisemitism in NJ, supporting Ukraine, and the importance of civic education. It was great to see everyone in person again! https://t.co/ajdx5RbRBp
Thanks to @montclairstateuniversity President Dr. Koppell for meeting with me to discuss the programs & opportunities MSU provides for students, especially in the arts! As a woman in national security, Madeleine Albright inspired me personally. Her commitment to peace and diplomatic acumen left our world better off. Today, I paid my final respects to her here in Washington.
I introduced legislation about holocaust education and am committed to working so our future generations can learn about the atrocities of the Holocaust. #neveragain

The wage gap hurts women in all professions. If we want to help families, rebuild our economy, and make NJ a more affordable place to live, we must make equal pay a right.
On this year’s Equal Pay Day, I’m celebrating the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team’s win in their equal pay lawsuit. As a mother of two young female soccer players, I know that so many young women look up to the USWNT as role models in the fight for equality. https://t.co/wdk0053LZW
Thank you to everyone standing united with the Ukrainian people in support of democracy and against Purim’s unjustified war.
The ARP helped students of all ages. 56 K-12 school districts in NJ-11 received over $85 million to get students and teachers back into the classroom. Colleges and Universities in my district received over $166 million, including funding for students to lower tuition & loan costs https://t.co/1pzT91NZf0
On International Women Women’s Day, I’m honoring Alice Parker. Born in Morristown, Alice earned a certificate from Howard University in 1910 and went on to create the first patented heating furnace. Her innovations inspire young women to pursue careers in STEM today! https://t.co/FmrK0KiHnT
Ahead of International Women’s Day, I recognized the Honorable Barbara Curran on the House floor. Barbara was the first woman to serve in all 3 branches of NJ government. I am grateful for the role model she was to me & to so many who saw a path forward in politics through her. https://t.co/GaGnmCh1V4
Dr. Robert Hariri started @Celularity in his garage right here in NJ-11 almost 30 years ago. Today, this cutting edge cell therapy company is growing the stem cells needed to address our most pressing illnesses, from COVID to cancer. https://t.co/PIXx9flZzo

I am proud to have Celularity doing this incredible work in NJ-11 and to work with these partners to continue to support and build the innovation economy in life sciences that has such a long history in NJ.
Just ended a virtual meeting with Ukranian President Zelenskyy. We discussed additional ways that the US & international community can continue to help our Ukrainian allies. We must stand firmly in support & I urge the US to continue to do everything we can. #StandWithUkraine https://t.co/zVobM7d8Nt
However, the Department of Transportation is still constrained by last year’s funding bill and so can’t immediately implement some critical programs in the infrastructure law, which is why it’s so important that we finish the appropriations process as rapidly as possible now.
I was excited this week to join @RepMoulton and @RepKatko in sending a letter to Congressional leadership urging them to quickly complete the FY 2022 appropriations bill so that the Department of Transportation can fully implement the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
