As @USFWS staff was scrambling to follow Bernhardt’s directive, Ingram and 12 other AZ donors donated nearly a quarter of a million dollars to Trump ‘s campaign fund. Less than 3 weeks later, the decision was officially reversed.
As Spangle told @TusconStar, “I got rolled.” He had never received that kind of pressure in his nearly 30-year career. https://t.co/K3v0eDn6C4

The Villages at Vigneto is a proposed development of 28,000 homes, golf courses, resorts, and commercial buildings near the endangered San Pedro River. The development would pump dangerous amounts of water from the San Pedro River in a time of unprecedented drought in the West.
Developer Mike Ingram is a major Trump donor. In an extensive investigation conducted over the past 3 years, we uncovered evidence that he was given access to high level Trump administration officials, including personal cell numbers.
We also found that he sent emails to Interior Secretary Zinke’s personal account about Vigneto. In August 2017, he arranged a secret private meeting with Bernhardt in Montana about Vigneto.
Real estate developer Mike Ingram and 12 other Arizona developers donated nearly $250,000 to Trump’s campaign fund and the RNC in exchange for @USFWS reversing its decision related to a Clean Water Act permit for the massive Villages at Vigneto development in Benson, AZ.
