Sunday at 8pm on @Showtime— catch my conversation with THE @jmpalmieri on this weeks episode of @SHO_TheCircus. I’m mean, it not like my @AtlantaFalcons are playing in the #SuperBowl QT @jmpalmieri: I was lucky to spend some time with new Georgia member @RepNikema this week for @SHO_TheCircus. @JaydeeJourdin @allinwithchris @thereidout Definitely not intentional, we were discussing a Black man and Jewish man representing GA in Congress.
65 years ago today, my Aunt, Autherine Lucy Foster, integrated The University of Alabama. As a member of Congress, I’m proof of how far our country has come, yet I recognize how far we still have to go. #MyBlackHistory #BlackHistoryMonth https://t.co/TwOuX5zM6H QT @civilrightsorg: Remember #AutherineLucy's courage today and know that her great niece – @NikemaWilliams – is now a member of the U.… https://t.co/jSOXWoyzdi)

After meeting with the @GeorgiaGuard members assembled in Washington, I know their commitment to country, duty and professionalism. I want to offer my most heartfelt apologies for the way they were treated. Congress must get answers for who ordered this and why. https://t.co/MtPeBIek0h
I am disgusted with the way the men and women of the National Guard were treated after risking their lives to ensure the inauguration proceeded without incident last week. Being forced to sleep in a parking garage is beyond unacceptable.
Because of your professionalism, the 59th Presidential Inauguration Ceremonies took place safely. So proud of that Georgian spirit and your commitment to duty and service to the country.
I had the honor to “troop the line” and meet the more than 100 Georgians on duty protecting @USCaptiol. A HUGE thank you to the men and women from the two @GeorgiaGuard Task Forces assembled in Washington D.C. for #InaugurationDay. https://t.co/omcZZe6vks
