Attorney generals around the country are doing fantastic work. (@BrianFrosch, @TishJames, @JoshStein_ to name a few) Their work is a great example of what we can accomplish. But I also saw an example of what not to do. The new Republican AG for Virginia, Jason Miyares.
AG Miyares was sworn in on January 15th. In less than *two weeks* he has: 1. Fired the Jan. 6 committee's lead investigator from UVA 2. Called for the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade 3. Fired 30 staff working on civil rights, opioids, housing, and human trafficking

The Jan. 6 committee's top investigator was fired from his position at UVA by Virginia's new Republican attorney general. It's ugly partisan politics and another reason we have to win this year. Marylanders need a AG who's focused and ready to help them - not political games
