Young kids deserve to be taught, not expelled. But the VT legislature is so busy making public ed the only problem that it ignores the elephant in the room. The state is literally giving up its ability to make sure all kids have access to good education. https://t.co/hSCqFsg9Zb

When our state gives up on the democratic promise of public education, as many of our leaders in VT are doing, it feels like we are giving up on each other.

There are no bills for Gov. Scott to veto until the Senate passes bills on this, on private schools & child cares that use precious public eduction dollars to discriminate, or on paid leave (which is more important than ever for working families due to COVID).
